Steve Jones is an accomplished CEO, CFO, founder, and public company board member who has led teams that built and scaled two energy infrastructure companies, raising over $4 billion in growth capital and completing two IPOs and one full exit. As Co-CEO & CFO of WaterBridge and LandBridge (NYSE: LB), he helped scale the businesses to a combined enterprise value exceeding $8 billion and helped lead the successful IPO of LandBridge in 2024. He previously co-founded PennTex Midstream Partners (NASDAQ: PTXP), eventually taking it public. PennTex was acquired in 2016 by Energy Transfer (NYSE:ET) delivering a full exit for its investors. Steve subsequently founded and led Core Midstream, a venture-stage midstream company whose team became an integral part of WaterBridge’s executive group. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade in investment banking at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. and Lehman Brothers, advising on more than 150 energy transactions. Steven holds a B.S. in Math & Economics from Tulane University.
